FIRST POST!

I had always wanted to start a blog, but had been too shy to actually publish it. This summer seems as good as any to start one. I think I'm going to be mostly using this as a diary/ writing journal to talk about books I've read, post different versions of stories and poems I write, and to share some of the exciting places I'm traveling to this summer. So I guess it's a book blog? a writing blog? a poem blog? Not sure we'll see.

Waiting anxiously for May 3rd -- the last day of my freshmen year of college! Scary stuff.
